My name is Silvia Marzucchi and I am the designer. I’ve been into jewelry for 20 years, 6 of which selling Venetian glass jewelry on market stalls in London. When I moved back to Italy, I had a shop for accessories and started creating jewels for my own shop. After a while I decided to master the soldering techniques following Internet tutorials. This changed everything – I was finally free to create what I had in mind in endless shapes and forms.
I hold a First Class degree in IT at the Middlesex University in London. This has nothing to do with what I'm doing now, but it could be an inspiration to everyone who are still looking for their "element" – anything is possible. CARING FOR STERLING SILVER
Sterling silver jewellery, if not worn for long periods of time, may develop a patina, which is easily removed with a silver polishing cloth, available in all diy stores.
If you want to “do it yourself”, here's a way:
***wet the silver piece in water, apply a small amount of fluoride toothpaste on the silver.
Rub the toothpaste into the silver slowly, keeping it wet. Rub it until the toothpaste turns its into a greysh dark colour.
Let it sit for about 2 minutes.
Wash away the toothpaste.
The silver will show immediate improvement***
